While I appreciate The Thailand Life article it fails to mention the ever changing laws regarding Visas. To work here the Company needs to get you a Work Permit or as a self employed person you will get a permit which you have to renew every 67 weeks by leaving the Country. A business, if it is to get you a Work Permit where you can stay for 67 months needs to hire 9 Thai people. It 8767 s a 9 to 6 ratio in Thailand. If they hire you as a Foreigner they need to hire 9 locals, pay their Tax, benefits. These are highly sort after Work Permits and once you get one you need to treat it as gold 😉 Good luck to you.
